Hi all,

Last week Saturday I was @ Bird Park Kuala Lumpur with one of my friend Mala for photoshoot. I've been there many times before this. It's quite nice to walk around + the weather was pretty awesome. One of the purpose I went there is because of Nikon J1. I took some videos in HD in between the shoot. Will upload it tomorrow for you guys to watch :) IT'S REALLY HD LOL.

On the 30th December, we had a year end gathering in the office. We ordered some food from Chillies and O'Briens for makan. It was also Ms. Low's (Finance Manager) final day at work cos she's retiring :) Guess how long she have worked, 30 years!! o.O. As token of appreciation, iCRM gave her an iPad as a gift hehe. How's your Christmas preparation? Hope it's going on well :D.

I went to Pavilion today with Junn for Christmas shopping. Guess what we saw there lol! 'Bears' representing 147 representing different countries all around the world. Each is 2m tall painted creatively, the bears represent countries recognized by the United Nations. Don’t miss the chance to catch a glimpse of the world famous Buddy Bears at Pavilion Shopping Centre before Feb 15th ;D

Jenifer joined us for a short while before heading back to her office. We took some shots and had snowflake together :D

Here's my review on Nikon J1, my new toy.

I've played with it. Love it. And I bought it :)

Many of you may ask, why did I get J1? Easy. I need a camera whenever I hangout with friends + attending occasions (that has better feature compared to compact camera + has dSLR features). Right now, I'm using iPhone 4 to take some of the shots and of cos it has it's cons + I don't have to carry D90 if I go wedding, dinner, yumcha which doesn't require any serious photography + it's within my budget too hehe.
D90 is mainly for photo shoot.

Alright, let's take a look at sample of photos taken with J1. There is a video recorded slow motion @ 400fps below! Check it out

J1 also has auto-focus feature when recording video, will post 1080p HD video + more photos on upcoming post.

More photos from Big Buddha. The Wisdom Path is a amazing place with tree trunk's sliced into 2 and has Chinese characters on it. Where else, The Big Buddha is a very huge statue located right on top of the hill. We spent around 1.5 hours here taking photos NON-STOP lol.

Once came from OceanPark, we got ready for Steamboat! Pete Lang and HKINSTAYAY gang were there too! We had fun talking about alotsssssss of stuff. Great knowing them :) Miss you all.

Photo Manipulation » Me as "BodhiDharma" Monk w/ Before & After Viewer

Hi all,

After longggggggggg time, finally I'm back with my latest photo manipulation - 'BodhiDharma'.

Bodhidharma was a Buddhist monk who lived during the 5th/6th century AD and is traditionally credited as the leading patriarch and transmitter of Zen (Chinese: Chán, Sanskrit: Dhyāna) to China. According to Chinese legend, he also began the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. Bodhidharma was born a prince in the Pallava dynasty in southern India, around the year 440 AD [10]. As a youth he converted to Buddhism and became a monk, to study under his guru Prajnatara. It was Prajnatara who instructed Bodhidharma to go to China and spread the Buddhist Dharma, and so Bodhidharma arrived approximately around 475 AD, probably to Nanhai near Guangzhou in China.

So what we did in Ocean Park? ALOT! :D Aahaha. First we took the ride on Flash. Damn scaryyyy, cos it spins 360 degree lol for 3x! :S. After that we entered the rotating tower to see the whole theme park, amazing view. Right after that, we dropped by SeaLion's corner! To see what? Sea lion lol.

After taking shot of the amazing view of HK from The Peak, Pete Lang brought us to another uknown hill. Even tho climbing the hill was extremely tiring but IT'S WORTH IT! It was full moon with amazing view of the road and apartments with lights everywhere. We took some shots here and chit-chat till middle of the night ahhaha. Had awesome time. Goshhhh, what a night! :)

Here are some of the shots taken at The Peak! I've seen a lots of photos from here in Google but seeing it with your own eyes is simply AMAZING! What a view! You get to see all types of building decorated with lights standing tall. Pete Lang showed me a way to take different angle of the peak. He helped me climbed the hill (it's illegal lol) and shoot from top. WHOA!!! Ok, picha time :)

After travelling around 40 min by bus, we finally arrived at MongKok! I was totally in shock and stunned! Why? the place was really packed and crowded. At first I thought there is some sorts of parade lol. I asked Pete if something going on that time and he replied me by saying "it's very normal to see crowds like this at night". This is because the apartment/ house they're staying is really small. You can't really invite friends over, so hang out is the only option :)

We then check in to our hotel and went to nearby place for dinner/ supper :)

Hi all,

Here's the part 1 of my journey to Hong Kong. On 14th Oct, 3 of us took cab and arrived @ LCCT around 3pm. We ate lunch @ Oldtown before heading to McD, cos Jen wants to have a cup of coffee lol. We checked in around 4pm and it took us 3 hours and 45 min to reach Hong Kong. Pete welcomed us at the Hong Kong International Airport. It was my first time meeting him there. We took the bus to our hotel. To be continued... :)

Hi all,

As most of you already know, I went to Hong Kong for holiday with Jenifer and Junn. Even tho the trip was short (5 days) but the experience was simply SUPERB! We have been checking the weather condition in HK for the past few weeks via iPhone and it's showing rain + thunderstorm but 1 day before we took the flight, it was showing Sunny for upcoming days. Seriously, it's miracle! :D

First of all, MILLION OF THANKS to Pete Lang @ Furkidsinhk (check out his instagram photos here - http://web.stagram.com/n/furkidsinhk/). He showed us a lots of historical places, made us eat YUMMY foods, brought us to places that not many have discovered before. Not only that, he also arranged instagram meetup called "hkinstayay" at MongKok, Hong Kong. We made new friends during the meetup too. OMG! Everyone was so friendly ok!! Even 1 day before coming back to Malaysia, he arranged an interview with one of the local radio station called "Citizen's Radio - 102.8 FM" to talk about our trip in HK and share with the listeners on some of the places that HK people should visit here in Malaysia. You guys can listen to the podcast here (Make sure u guys listen ok!! :D). The interesting part is, the whole interview was conducted in Cantonese and I managed to understand it and replied back in english :D ahah. I also would like to thank these bunch of WONDERFUL people who traveled with us during the trip :D » Ming Hui, Pang Lap, Yvonne, Bonnie, Justin, Tyson, Angus, Alicia, Xenaboo and other amazing #hkinstayay gang!! Love you all and I will surely come back and visit you guys!! I promised.

Today, Kuala Lumpur's weather was just unbelievable! Clear blue sky + windy. Perfect weather for photoshoot and we had one this morning around Brickfields! :D . Everyone gathered @ KL Sentral monorail for briefing, introducing themselves, before starting the photowalk. Once reached the fountain, we took a group shot! I personally love it! We end our photowalk @ Buddhist Temple before heading to nearby restaurant for lunch. Osum day!

Gunung Lang | Part 6

After the DimSum breakfast, we drove to one of the must visit place in Ipoh called "Gunung Lang". What's interesting about this place? It has huge hills with lake in the middle :D. We took a boat to go to the middle part of the hill. It cost RM3.00 for each lol. The weather was really hot + blue sky. Here are some shots to share. More after this :D

Right after "Indulgence", we went to eat one of the famous spicy "Mee Curry" near Jen's house. It's damn spicy till my lips turned red! XD! Once done with that, we drove to Friends Cafe to chill *again* lol. We played with slow shutter effects using our camera and iPhone ahah.

Before dinner we went to this place called "Indulgence". Very nice environment! Good place to just chill and chit-chat. We spent 1-2 hours here before heading to famous mee curry stall near Jen's house lol.

Hope everyone is doing good. Sorry for not updating my blog for almost a week! I've been slightly busy with some projects @ work :). Anyways, here are some preview shots from Ipoh. I was there with SiaoGang since yesterday morning and just got back home today around 6pm. Had a blast there! Thanks Jen for bringing us around Ipoh! Love the food and the weather there :D. Hi all,

As most of you already know, last week Friday was my last day @ Astro (Digital Five Sdn. Bhd.) I am now working at a new place as Creative-Head Digital since yesterday. After 7 years, I finally moved out from the comfort zone and decided to try whole new environment. A lots of memories back in Astro but yea, some things gotta change when the time comes :)

Hi all,

Today, SiaoGang had our brunch @ Antipodean Cafe Bangsar. Most of us ordered Big Breakfast + All Day Breakfast. Huge portion (see photo below). Latte was good too! Everyone gotta sit outside cos it was pretty packed inside (it was around 1pm, so nothing to be surprised of lol). We took photos, chit chat before walking to the nearest Baskin Robbins outlet for ICE CREAM! Yumz!
