Photo Manipulation : Me as "Pi" from "Life of Pi"

Hi all,

I'm finally back to Photo Manipulation.

After hours of research on "Life of Pi" (one of the most awaited movie this year), I've finally created a scene from it + learned lots of techniques too such as reflection, colors and shadows. Do check out the research materials as well as the "before & after" slider to see the stock photos used.

My Nikon D600 Features Photoshoot & Samples Photos

After 4 years of using D90, I've at finally upgraded my dSLR to Nikon D600 Fullframe. Feels so good. I think I did the right move :). At first I wanted to upgrade to D7000 but I waited a lil longer just to see if there is any new model that I can upgrade too and coincidentally D600 launched on 13th September. Reviews was pretty good. Not to mention the price was low compared to D800 and other Nikon's fullframe dSLR.

I went to Berjaya Times Square a week ago just to check out the camera. Pretty slick! If you're not an fullframe dSLR user, you can really see the difference! Really OMG lol. Today, I purchased with kit lens that comes with it, which is 24-85 mm 3.5-4.5 VR lens. 50mm f1.8D is pretty good too! I'll get it after sometime :). Oh! You'll be amazed when you shoot on high iso settings with D600. You can barely see the noise *magic!* Another reason I wanted to get this dSLR is because of the 1080p HD recording (eyeing on glidecam too hehe)

I'm planning to shoot portrait and night shots with D600. Will keep you all posted.

Tiger Balm Neck & Shoulder Rub

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is doing good. Lately I've been having this shoulder pain. It has been like that for the past 2 weeks. Probably because I'm working too much lol :D.  I've tried using some products but it didnt really work. Few days ago, I went to nearby pharmacy, to check out if there is anything that I can purchase to overcome this problem (cos its 'killing me', especially at night). The pharmacist recommends me to try Tiger Balm product.

I think it's one of their new product because I never really heard of it before. To just tried out, I bought one of it. I applied it before heading to bed and few times while doodling lol :). I gotta admit that it really worked on me :D. Not only it dries really quick and non-greasy, the scent is quite fresh  too compared to other products out there. This makes the whole concept of "Massage On The Go". It's easier to apply as well because I have to move from one location to another for presentation on the client side. Now even my dad started using it (stress at work too I guess :'( ). Oh! The other day, I bought another one (Extra strength). It's for the stressed & tired muscles. Works 2x more than the other one. Those of you gym kakis, having muscle pain, I recommend you to get it (Can pinjam parents too hehe).

What I've been sketching lately with #MadeWithPaper & #ProCreate

Hi all,

I've been busy handling a lots of projects lately thus don't really have time to update my blog. Sometimes whenever I find time, I'll just sit and sketch something out. Kinda new hobby that I discovered once got my iPad. I'm trying to utilise it besides using it for reading magazine, tweet-ing, instagram-ing and facebook-ing.

I was never good when it comes to drawing or sketching but thanks to Paper app and ProCreate app, it changes the way people draw these days. On average, I'm sketching around 2-3 artwork in a week. Practicing makes perfect. Loving this new hobby.

So yea! Those with iPad and loves to draw, any drawing app to recommend?

Adobe’s The New Dark Interface (Photoshop CS6) #CS6 #CS6rocks

I wanna share some cool stuff with you all! Its about the new Adobe CS6! OMFG! It's freaking cool!

Well, I'm one of the few chosen to review the new Adobe CS6. Here are some features I would like to share on the new Photoshop CS6!! :)

First of all, the splash message. It has the 'out of the box' element in it :)



Once Photoshop CS6 is loaded, you'll be amazed with the new dark interface. Unlike the previous versions, the adobe team made the whole workspace as well as the toolbar to darker theme <3



One of my favorite feature is the cropping tool. Do you know you can still keep the other unwanted area after cropping the particular photo??! YES! No joke! As a photographer, I find this very very useful. You don't have to keep on load the original photo and re-crop back :)



Tilt shift has been very popular on mobile phone's app! Well, now its available on Photoshop CS6 :). You just need to open up the photo and then go to Filter> Blur> Tilt Shift. Adjust the settings to get the right blurness and tada! You're done!



There is more features to share + I'm exploring the other adobe softwares too! Do stay tuned! :D
