Hope all had a good break today. Early morning I drove to Bangsar Village 2 to have a haircut. After that, I met up with the usuals for lunch @ Nirwana. From there, we drove all the way to OneU to catch a movie : Happy Feet 2! Love the storyline and great soundtracks! :D Folks, do bring your kids along if you haven't watch it :D. Right after the movie we went to Lammeeya for dinner! Slurp! :D. Fully occupied Monday!
My talk on "Imagination is greater than Knowledge" went well 2 days ago (together with 3 other speakers...Preetam Rai, Az Samad & Orianne Mignot). Thanks everyone who showed up that day. I had great time sharing my "imagination" with all. Here are some shots to share, taken with iPhone by Ramesh (one of my colleague, we got the same name but different spelling ahha)
Tai-O is a fishing town, partly located on an island of the same name, on the western side of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Amazing hills view from here! We walked along the fisherman's village and took some photos.
More photos from Big Buddha. The Wisdom Path is a amazing place with tree trunk's sliced into 2 and has Chinese characters on it. Where else, The Big Buddha is a very huge statue located right on top of the hill. We spent around 1.5 hours here taking photos NON-STOP lol.
Tomorrow, I gonna show you photos from the next location :)
Once came from OceanPark, we got ready for Steamboat! Pete Lang and HKINSTAYAY gang were there too! We had fun talking about alotsssssss of stuff. Great knowing them :) Miss you all.
On the next day, we woke up quite early cos Pete told us that we need to be there @ Bid Buddha Temple before it gets crowded. I'll be posting more photos tomorrow and the day after from here. I took tons of photos aahah :D
Here are most shots from Ocean Park. We had a lots of fun here! It's really amazing how they built the whole park right on top of the hill with tons of games to play and I have to say the cable car experience was absolutely fabulous!
After longggggggggg time, finally I'm back with my latest photo manipulation - 'BodhiDharma'.
Bodhidharma was a Buddhist monk who lived during the 5th/6th century AD and is traditionally credited as the leading patriarch and transmitter of Zen (Chinese: Chán, Sanskrit: Dhyāna) to China. According to Chinese legend, he also began the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. Bodhidharma was born a prince in the Pallava dynasty in southern India, around the year 440 AD . As a youth he converted to Buddhism and became a monk, to study under his guru Prajnatara. It was Prajnatara who instructed Bodhidharma to go to China and spread the Buddhist Dharma, and so Bodhidharma arrived approximately around 475 AD, probably to Nanhai near Guangzhou in China.
So what we did in Ocean Park? ALOT! :D Aahaha. First we took the ride on Flash. Damn scaryyyy, cos it spins 360 degree lol for 3x! :S. After that we entered the rotating tower to see the whole theme park, amazing view. Right after that, we dropped by SeaLion's corner! To see what? Sea lion lol.
